TENNIS is one of the founder sports played at Hong Kong Cricket Club. There are three all-weather courts available for Member's use from 7am-11pm daily.
The Club currently enters five Men's teams and three Ladies' teams in both the HKTA Summer and Winter Leagues and three Mixed Doubles teams in the HKTA Mixed Doubles League. The Club also fields three to four teams in the HK Ladies Tennis League (HKLTL), which is held on weekday mornings. We also enter two junior teams in the HKTA Junior Team Tennis League held over two seasons each year on Friday nights.
Tennis coaching at the Club has gone from strength to strength over the years, and annually sees around 250 juniors being instructed, starting with our Tiny Tots program for 3-5 year olds, up to our Junior League Team squad training sessions. The juniors also take part in holiday camps, tournaments and inter- club competitions. Our coaches also offer private & group coaching, Cardio Tennis and a range of social tennis events for our adult Members.
All in all, tennis is one of the most popular sports here at the HKCC, with a variety of programs and coaching available seven days a week. Nations Cup 2012
This Inaugural Event will be held soon on a date to be announced.
A challenge to all Nations. Sign up with your country to do battle against teams from around the world. Doubles & Mixed Doubles will be played – followed by a great BBQ and prize presentation. NOT TO BE MISSED ! !

Chinese New Year Tennis Camp
Don’t miss out on some great fun on the courts during the Chinese New Year Holiday - Camp will run on 26 & 27 January. All ages and levels are welcome. Certificate of Achievement and photos for all participants. Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced Camps will run for 2 days

Club Championships Mixed Doubles
Our last event for 2011, the Mixed Doubles, attracted a good field. In the Open section we had 10 pairs split into 2 groups and a Round Robin was played to see who would play in the final. We had some close matches and it wasn’t until we completed every match that we knew the answer. So uncertain were the finalists that Leo had to be called back to play the final when he thought he couldn’t make it!!!!!!!! The trip back was worth it as he & Alice Ng took the final from William Chu & Debbie See 8-4.
In the Closed event we had 4 pairs, or should I say couples, as 3 of the pairs are married, well they were before the event started. The one ring-in pair was Mongia McGill who gave up her hubby to play with one of our Junior, Sam Maddox, and it worked well, as they were undefeated in the Round Robin, with Louise & Gerard Finlay finishing a close second.
